Being the first wife to a superhero, mera is a queen, defender, superhero, and once mother and that's before the tv show super friends ended.
with the ability to manipulate water into forms and trained since birth to be a warrior, mera is queen and defender to a land that does not trust her and even fears her ruling when aqua man is out adventuring. In fact aqua man and mera are the longest standing couple and only dc heroes that are married inn the new 52 universe!
